FUN RUN TIME! “2012″
Net proceeds from this year’s fun run will go to the Child Cancer Foundation, Kidz First Children’s Hospital, the Make a Wish Foundation and the Garden to Table Trust.
One more week before the big run! If you’re free this coming Sunday 18 why not take a stroll along the Auckland coastline in support of good health and charity. But don’t do it just for the catch up and food, if you’re a part of a team with a BBQ camp set-up at the finish line, be prepared to have your expectations squashed…
…Let me just wipe this tear. Last year, the one food that kept coming to mind and accompanying my thoughts during my arduous attempt at running, haunting my gasping breath and tired mind, was the perfect picture of a cool, delicious, massive slice of watermelon! But alas what was waiting for me were bananas. Albeit a bottomless chilly bin of unlimited bananas, but not even the tastiest banana could quench my lust for the beloved melon. I love watermelon. Seeds and all. Hang on, what was I talking about here?
