DRIVE [movie review]
I just watched ‘Drive.’ It’s awesome!
I feel if I now put a toothpick in my mouth someone is going to criticize me for copying the Driver. That and his scorpion jacket. A great set-up and a very well executed story that could have easily teetered into a high-concept genre film. ‘Drive’ is a great story with a real emotional core driving our protagonist and his story forward. Everything was just right.
The opening is so cool and the opening credit song was a surprise that had me bopping my head. It was Kavinsky - Nightcall (feat. Lovefoxxx) which I have several remixes of but had not heard the original version before. Very cool soundtrack that complimented Drive’s style. Go watch it before it leaves the cinemas:
